The biological action of ALBISOL® can be harnessed in treatment plants, oxidation ponds, sanitary drainage system lines, septic tanks, and generally in any location used as a receptor for discharges of wastewater contaminated with organic and inorganic matter requiring biodegradation, as well as in hydrocarbon spills in seas, ponds, rivers, and soils.
Through the application of ABISOL®, an adequate and sufficient addition of microorganisms is achieved to decompose organic/inorganic matter in a short period of time, and WITH ITS NON-TOXIC CHARACTERISTICS, THE FINAL DISPOSAL OF TREATED WATERS IN WATER BODIES SUCH AS RIVERS, PONDS AND SEAS IS ACCOMPLISHED.
The bacteria added by ALBISOL® mineralize organic matter, thereby releasing carbon dioxide and nutrients that algae use for their functioning, releasing these amounts of oxygen and stimulating bacterial decomposition processes. This mutualistic association, resulting from biotechnological research, exponentially increases biomass content, leading to an increase in biodegradation activity.
ALBISOL®, by restoring biological activity, prevents and eliminates foul odors from wastewater treatment plants in a short period of time. Additionally, with ALBISOL® product, the required chlorine quantities are significantly reduced; it reduces long-chain hydrocarbons spilled in freshwater or brackish water and soils, converting them into assimilable products within the trophic chain.
ALBISOL® is divided into two categories or classes, each one aimed at a specific use. Below we mention the classes and the use to which it is directed:
Class | Use |
---|---|
1. Plant nutrient (micro algae). | Oxidation lagoons, urban wastewater and treatment plants. |
2. Biotechnology consortium (plant nutrient + bacteria). | Industrial discharges, grease traps, hydrocarbons and biotransformation of heavy metals. |
